Dhaka Bank (DHAKABANK) has received a high-grade long-term credit rating of ‘AA+’ and a short-term rating of ‘ST-1’ from ECRL, reflecting a stable outlook. Meanwhile, NCC Bank sponsor Mrs. Sohela Hossain is set to receive over 11.1 million shares as a gift from her son. In the non-banking sector, Union Capital (UNIONCAP) has scheduled a board meeting for May 19 to review its 2025 audited financials and Q1 2026 results.

Mutual Fund and Regulatory Alerts

Investors in Vanguard AML BD Finance Mutual Fund One (VAMLBDMF1) should take note that the auditor has included “Emphasis of Matter” and “Other Matter” paragraphs in the latest audit report, signaling specific areas that require careful review.
